Amelia Lek Kai Yi is a licensed real estate salesperson registered with the Council for Estate Agencies and an Associate Senior Marketing Director with Huttons Asia Pte Ltd. She works with buyers and investors on new-launch private residential projects in Singapore, and also advises on condominium, HDB, landed and commercial property. Her role is to help buyers assess a development on its facts — unit mix, pricing, layout and location — and to arrange showflat viewings and access to developer-issued documentation.
How I work
My job is to help you judge a development on its facts rather than on marketing copy. That means going through pricing and the unit mix in plain language, being straight about what is and is not confirmed by the developer, and giving you the current developer-issued documents so you can decide in your own time.
Where something is not yet released — a price list, a floor plan, a launch date — I will tell you that rather than estimate it.
